Demonfire Palanquin | Greedy Danjo of Rokugo clan bears down hard on the innocent Tendo clan, stealing their most fertile land and brutally murdering envoy Shinohara Hyonoshin, who tried to petition the shogunate, in front of his daughter Kotoe, who now wanders the Edo streets, driven to madness. The mysterious rogue Tsukitaro takes an interest in the Tendo’s plight and hides Tendo samurai Mitarai Banjiro and Shinohara Hyoma from a deadly pursuit. Tsukitaro will join their crusade with knife and sword in hand. Soon all three will be targets of Rokugo’s deadliest assassin, Yamada, and his band of swordsmen, leading to a final confrontation that may settle their vendetta with bloodshed.
